“Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me but I chose you” John 15:13-16
Jesus calls us all as friends and brothers. Our friendships with each other are very important, even if we don’t have to lay down our lives for each other. But, learning to love one another like Christs loves us, and learning to spend time with other Christians gives us some of the strength we need to face today’s world.
We’re eager to get to know each other, and we take friendship very seriously. Join us at one of our Super Wednesdays and have a load of fun with new people. At each of these events, we promise to do something entertaining, and help you get to know one another. Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone now, in less than 5 minutes you’ll ahve more friends than you ever want! Sometimes we do sports, others we play games, or just relax and take in the world. Give it a try and see if you like it.
